Why we noticed it

Sticky rollers work until the sheets run out. This set replaces them with a brush you keep using, and the base takes care of the part nobody enjoys, getting the fur off the brush. It is a simple mechanism that makes a small daily job tidier.

About this product

Clean-Swipe is a lint brush you keep, not one you refill.

How it works. Brush the fabric in the direction of the arrow on the handle. The brush is directional: one way lifts loose fur and lint, the other way smooths it down, so use it with the arrow. When you’re done, slide the brush back into its standing base. As you pull it out again, the edge of the base wipes the collected fur off the brush, and the fur drops into a removable tray at the bottom that you empty now and then.

Where it’s useful. Loose pet hair, lint and surface fluff on sofas and other upholstery, sturdy clothing such as coats and trousers, bedding and car seats. The travel brush is the same idea in a smaller size for a bag or the car.

What it isn’t. Clean-Swipe is not a fabric-pill shaver. It lifts loose fibres sitting on the surface; it won’t remove pills, the little balls of fibre still attached to a knit. For those you need a fabric shaver such as No. 002.
